The worship of God does not begin on Sunday morning when you arrive at the church building. Instead, worship is an ongoing act that is constantly offered up to God throughout the course of your life.

In the book of Isaiah, the LORD says that He is tired of the burnt offerings of a people who are unrepentant and shallow in their worship. The 1st chapter of Isaiah speaks of “vain offerings” that were being brought before God (Isaiah 1:13).

In our modern worship we must be constantly introspective of our lives before God; not just our outward appearances, but what is deep within. We must focus our very spirit on Him who is worthy of our praise.

Our Worship Ministry offers many opportunities to offer back to God the worship and praise that He is so worthy of. As members of FBCME, it is our honor to exalt the Lord, edify each other and evangelize our world.

Some of our ministry opportunities include:
 

WORSHIP CHOIR
A weekly participant in corporate worship, this dedicated group of singers train during mid-week rehearsals to bring exciting and vibrant choral pieces before the congregation and to the Lord. This energetic group also prepares seasonal musicals that combine poignant music with captivating drama. - Open enrollment (Grade 7 through adult)

PRAISE TEAMS
These small groups are instrumental in leading worship and uplifting congregational song. - Audition only

PRAISE BAND
This group of instrumentalists worship through their musical gifts in all worship services. They learn challenging choral pieces to accompany the worship choir and exigent orchestral compositions that inspire the worshipper and magnify Christ. - Audition only

DRAMA
Jesus, the Master Narrator, told stories and parables to engage the listener’s mind and make an everlasting impression. Through different groups such as A.G.A.P.E./Love, Christmas and Easter casts, and special presentations, FBCME uses the same methodology to bring to life many Biblical settings, parables and situations so that we may better communicate the Good News of our Savior. - Open and audition enrollment

SIGN ART
Through the use of movement, banners, streamers and props, Sign Art provides a way of glorifying our Savior through the movement of our bodies. Using many modern-day songs, Sign Art combines expressive, vigorous and lively movement that articulates the energy of our love for God. - Open enrollment

MADE FOR PRAISE
Our Made For Praise Children's Choir teaches children the importance of worshipping our Lord while instilling within them a love of music that is used for the glory of God. - Open enrollment (Grades 1-5).
